Purpose of the grant: Development of a Cargo Management System (CMS) mobile application. The app automates cargo tracking and customs clearance processes and eliminates manual data entry. Integrations with other systems reduce the number of administrative errors and provide 24/7 visibility, ensuring smooth process automation, a high level of security, and a more sustainable and cost-effective supply chain.

The project’s goal was to prepare a market-ready extension of the Cargo Management System (CMS) — a mobile application. The CMS enables users to:

  • Automate cargo tracking
  • Digitize customs clearance and documentation processes
  • Eliminate manual work, thereby reducing administrative errors
  • Ensure 24/7 visibility

The application developed with support from the fund expands the use of the CMS across operational sites (warehouses, terminals, hangars), allowing employees to work faster and more accurately, even when network connectivity is unstable.

Mobile Application Features

The mobile app provides:

  • Search by container number or VIN
  • Photo capture and photo upload with automatic vehicle/unit status updates in the CMS
  • Camera functions (flash, zoom/scale)
  • Compatibility with both Android and iOS
  • Offline mode with synchronization when reconnecting to the network
